Melbourne Dental School Shines at 2025 IADR Barcelona

Over 25 of our staff and students proudly represented the Melbourne Dental School at the 2025 IADR in Barcelona - contributing across symposia, oral sessions, workshops, poster presentations and more. The event offered a valuable chance to reconnect with colleagues and build exciting new networks.

We’re thrilled to congratulate Dr Nadia Kaunein, who took First Place in the IADR Clinical and Translational Study Network (CTSN) Outstanding Award for her research: “Rapid, Non-Invasive MicroRNA Sampling Flags Areas of High-Risk Oral Mucosae.”

Congratulations also to Dr Stephanie Shields, who received a Highly Commended recognition in the IADR Paediatric Oral Health Research (POHR) Young Investigator Award for her study: “Inflammation and Molar Incisor Hypomineralisation: A Population-Based Cohort Study.”
