Melbourne Dental School hosts King’s College London study tour

Our School had the pleasure of hosting six final-year dental students from King’s College London as part of a study tour. During their visit, the students observed our third- and fourth-year dental students in clinical settings and had the opportunity to engage with our Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DCD) students in Prosthodontics and Endodontics.

The tour provided students with the opportunity to explore areas of potential interest for their future careers, while also connecting with academics across Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Periodontics. They also gained valuable insight into the delivery of oral health care within Indigenous communities.

Overall, the study tour was a rewarding and informative experience, offering students a unique perspective on dental education and clinical practice within a different healthcare and academic setting.
