Dr Shazia Naser ud Din at Osaka Global Startup Expo

Dr Shazia Naser ud Din represented the Melbourne Dental School at the Osaka Global Startup Expo and MedTech Actuator Japan Showcase 2025, marking the first time these events have formally recognised and supported MedTech innovation on a global scale.

During her visit, Dr Naser ud Din met with representatives from the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), international delegates, and industry partners, strengthening MDS’s presence in the MedTech innovation space.

Australia was awarded first prize at the Osaka showcase, an outstanding achievement that reflects the country’s growing influence in global MedTech innovation.
