Farewell Afternoon Tea for Professor Stuart Dashper

Melbourne Dental School staff gathered for a special afternoon tea to celebrate and farewell Professorial Fellow Stuart Dashper, our former Director of Research.

Interim HoS A/Prof Rita opened the event with a warm introduction before Stuart delivered a heartfelt reflection on his research journey at MDS. He spoke not only of his own achievements but also of the many colleagues and students he has mentored and supported over the years, highlighting the School’s remarkable contributions to oral microbiology research.

The afternoon tea was a real hit, with plenty of chatter, laughter, and sweet treats shared among colleagues. It was wonderful to see so many staff come together to celebrate Stuart’s legacy, dedication, and leadership.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Stuart for his years of service and wish him all the very best in retirement – no more early mornings, just well-deserved time for new adventures!
