Dr Roisin McGrath went to Dublin to attend the IDHEF and ISDH

Roisin recently had her first opportunity to represent MDS outside of Victoria since commencing as Director of the BOH Program.

“I attended the International Dental Hygiene Educators Forum in Dublin, which was held the day before the International Symposium on Dental Hygiene (ISDH) on the 11th-13th of August, at which I gave an oral and a poster presentation. With delegates from over 30 countries, the ISDH provides a truly global perspective on dental hygiene.

Both of these conferences were a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with colleagues I’ve known for some time, and to develop new networks.

I also visited our DentAlliance partners at King’s College London, where I caught up with faculty members of the BSc Dental Therapy and also went to their outreach clinic in West Norwood. I look forward to collaborating with our KCL colleagues in the future.”
