Associate Professor Samantha Byrne Presents at Prestigious Asia-Pacific Dental Education Meeting

Associate Professor Samantha Byrne was honoured with an invitation to deliver a special lecture at the 2024 Scientific Annual Meeting of the Association for Dental Education in Asia Pacific (ADEAP). The event, held alongside the Campus Asia Plus in Dentistry (CA+inD) International Symposium and the Tohoku University, Hong Kong University, and Fujian Medical University International Symposium on Oral Health Science, took place at Tohoku University’s Graduate School of Dentistry in Sendai, Japan, on 19-20 October 2024.

Associate Professor Sam opened the meeting with her inspiring lecture, titled "Digital Tools, Human Touch: Advancing Dental Education for a Compassionate Future." Her presentation highlighted key areas for enhancing dental education curricula and explored the transformative role of digital technology in creating more compassionate healthcare.

The event attracted representatives from dental schools across the Asia-Pacific region, providing a fantastic opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and spark new collaborations.
