TRAM Program: Dr. Shazia Naser-ud-Din's Journey from Research to Market Impact

Translating Research at Melbourne (TRAM) is an intensive 11-week program designed for researchers seeking to translate their innovations into market impact. Guided by the Track Program Manager, Ms. Bonnie Zhang, participants delve into customer discovery, assumption testing, stakeholder mapping, and value proposition canvas. The hands-on experience, coupled with Masterclasses, IP pathways, and mentorship, fosters entrepreneurial thinking and industry engagement.

Notably, Dr. Shazia Naser-ud-Din, a program participant, presented an innovative solution as part of TRAM—Solutions 2 Bruxism. Addressing the rising concern of teeth grinding and clenching due to stress, Shazia's prototype offers a solution for a youthful smile and restful night sleep. In Shazia's words, "TRAM has been an enriching journey, and the University's support has been invaluable."
