AI for Oral Health: MDS at Global WHO–ITU–WIPO Meeting

The meeting provided a fantastic forum for exploring the current role and future prospects of AI in oral health. Dr Rishi had the opportunity to present the team’s recent survey on AI validation metric literacy among dental researchers and clinicians revealing an average score of just 17%. These findings underscores the pressing need to enhance education and literacy around AI validation metrics to foster trust in AI-powered applications in oral health.
