2022 Winner of Dean’s Fellowship for Learning & Teaching Excellence

Dr Clare McNally won 2022 Dean’s Fellowship for Learning & Teaching Excellence.

Congratulations Dr Clare McNally, our 2022 winner of a Dean’s Fellowship for Learning and Teaching Excellence. Clare’s success recognises her innovation and leadership in assessment and feedback— in the Dental School and beyond. As a teaching specialist and her school’s Academic Lead for Assessment and Evaluation, Clare is leading development of the assessment program for the school’s new curriculum. Clare is also engaging colleagues in professional learning in the Assessment Connections series and other forums.

Clare’s fellowship will see her visit the dental schools of the Universities of North Carolina and Liverpool to share and explore experiences of programmatic assessment with particular reference to ‘entrustable professional activities’ and workplace-based assessments. Clare’s fellowship will support re-development of the curricula of the Bachelor of Oral Health and the Doctor of Dental Surgery.
