2022 Achievement Award by the DSD Fraternity

Melbourne Dental Shool student Sydney Shacklock received 2022 Achievement Award presented by the DSD Fraternity.

The honour recognises the recipient's prior accomplishments and activities. Although this recipient's academic performance will be taken into account, the emphasis will be on the recipient's past and present involvement in the community and in leadership roles.

Sydney Shacklock, a DDS 4 student, won the award after a selection process, and the legendary Professor Dr. John Matthews AM presented her with it. The prize includes a $500 book voucher, medallion, and certificate.

"Knowledge, strength, and justice" is the Fraternity's motto. This is interpreted to mean, a love of the pursuit of knowledge, the strength of character to act in an ethical way, and a willingness to help others less fortunate.
