MDHS ECAN Symposium 2023: Celebrating Early Career Academic Achievements

MDHS hosted the Early Career Academic Network Symposium (MDHS ECAN). This event is designed to celebrate the remarkable contributions of early career academics within the faculty, serving as a platform for networking and fostering career development among upcoming scholars.

Among the highlights was Ms Bansari Shah, a 3rd year PhD student, who was awarded the "Melbourne Dental School Best Oral Presentation" award for her presentation 'Developing a Vaccine Towards Oral Cancer'. Her work focuses on the development of an ex-vivo assay that will fast-track the development of peptide-based T cell vaccines for oral cancer.
