Orthodontics graduate Dr Robert Wei published in American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics

Dr Robert Wei, a 2018 and 2012 MDS graduate, recently had his research article published in and featured on the front cover of the October issue of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

The pre-eminent medical journal, which has been published for more than one hundred years, remains a leading resource in orthodontics. It is also the official journal of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Robert’s article features research done in collaboration with the University of Michigan. His research sought to elucidate the orthopaedic condylar effects in two-phase Herbst appliance treatment, in comparison to single-phase treatment with Class II elastics using cone-beam computed tomography.

Dr Wei currently practises in Canberra and continues to support aspects of research being done at the Melbourne Dental School.
