  • Chief Executive Officer

    Professor Mike Morgan

    Professor Mike Morgan is the Head of School and holds the Chair of Population Oral Health at the Melbourne Dental School, the University of Melbourne. Originally graduating with a BDS from The University of Otago in New Zealand, Mike is a registered specialist dentist with a Masters Degree and PhD in the areas of dental public health and epidemiology. Currently appointed to the Board of VicHealth, he is also Deputy President of the Australian Dental Council Board of Governors where he chairs the Accreditation Committee.

    Professor Morgan’s principal teaching responsibility is in population oral health, focusing on oral disease causation in relation to common risk factors and disease prevention at a population level – with an emphasis on community water fluoridation. He has a strong research background and interest in the causes and prevention of oral disease, economic evaluation and clinical trials of dental caries preventive agents.

  • Academic Clinical Director

    Associate Professor Roy Judge

    Associate Professor Roy Judge was appointed the Academic Clinical Director at MDC in a new role is to work closely with the Melbourne Dental Clinic’s staff and School Clinical Governors to help ensure that the Clinic is a successful venture for the School and University. He has been at the Melbourne Dental School since 1997 where he is currently Head of Prosthodontics and Director of Continuing Professional Development. A/Professor Judge has a keen interest in implant and bone research.

  • Director of Corporate Services

    Shree Vijayan

    Shree Vijayan was appointed as the Director Corporate Services in May 2012. Shree has experience in corporate finance and auditing and assurance in Australia and overseas. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal College in Colombo Sri Lanka and has been admitted as an Associate member of CPA Australia. Shree worked for Coopers & Lybrand Associates and KPMG Dubai before migrating to Australia in 1995 where he joined the state health care services.

    Since then, Shree has gained extensive senior management experience within the healthcare industry, working as the Financial Controller of Eastern Health specialising in compliance, strategy and planning and financial management and reporting. In the past five years Shree held the position of Financial Controller of a nationwide group of companies, concentrating on business development, corporate services and compliance.
